Shanghai metro installation

Immersive integration of nature in the metro.

In this proposal we reverse the context, bringing in nature, the forest, animals, etc. to the city so that they mix in a public environment, as opposed to combining the silence of the countryside with the noise of the city.

For this purpose, 3D holograms will be created.

The holographic displays have a four-spoke rotor that spins rapidly at a speed of 670 RPM.
However, the viewer’s eyes will not see any beams, only the impressive 3D content floating in the air.

This is the first large-scale immersive production based on the work of Regina Saura. A unique experience that allows the viewer to immerse him or herself in nature in the midst of a constant traffic of people and public transport, noise, speed and stress, to go through a forest full of life. A superimposition of reality and art that we find in her inner world.

Large-format projections with 500m2 of immersive digital reality screen and interactive tools make up an ambitious and spectacular cultural proposal for all audiences. This allows the spectator to feel as if they are inside the paintings that Regina installs in spaces as inhospitable and necessary as metro and train stations, to cross borders and find a moment of pause, relaxation, and virtual emotions.
